Rooted in the Early Church, Growing Disciples Today
Our Story and Core Mission
Founded on the biblical pattern of Acts 2:42–47, Strong & Courageous Church exists to nurture mature followers of Jesus Christ who live empowered by the Holy Spirit. Our mission is discipleship over attendance, presence of God over performance, and biblical truth above cultural trends, building a community where everyone encounters Jesus deeply and grows in authentic fellowship.
Our Council of Elders
Jesus Christ is the Head of His Church. At Strong & Courageous Church, no single pastor stands at the top of our leadership structure. Instead, our church is shepherded by a Council of Elders who share responsibility for its spiritual care, doctrine, direction, and accountability.
Following the biblical pattern of plural leadership, our elders seek God together through prayer, Scripture, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. They serve as shepherds, not celebrities, working together to equip God’s people, protect the health of the church, and faithfully steward its mission.
Our pastors and ministry leaders serve within this shared and accountable structure, each using their gifts to build up the body of Christ. We honor those called to lead while keeping Jesus alone at the center.
